Fine lines and wrinkles can be bothersome to your appearance and make you look older than you feel. With Radiesse, you can achieve instantly smoother skin and restore lost facial volume with results that last 18 months or longer. Dr. Weider treats patients in Dallas, TX with Radiesse to fight specific signs of aging.
Radiesse is an injectable dermal filler composed of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA). When placed under the skin, facial volume is immediately restored. As the gel is absorbed by the body, the CaHA metabolizes and is replaced by your own natural collagen, leading to long-lasting facial contour improvement. This allows you to achieve younger-looking skin that lasts.
You can benefit from Radiesse to improve static wrinkles, or those that are present even when the face is relaxed. Radiesse can improve the following types of facial wrinkles:
- Smile lines
- Marionette lines
- Lines in the corners of the mouth
- Chin wrinkles
- Cheek atrophy
Along with facial lines and wrinkles, Radiesse can also be placed in the backs of the hands to restore volume loss, soften visible veins and tendons, and smooth the skin. Radiesse is an effective solution for those who are looking to combine the benefits of hyaluronic acid fillers with collagen stimulators.
Dr. Weider will begin treatment with Radiesse by cleansing the skin and prepping it with a topical numbing cream. A small amount of Radiesse can then be placed under the skin in the treatment area, instantly adding volume to lines and folds or the backs of the hands. The injection process can take about 15 to 45 minutes to complete.
There is no required downtime after treatment with Radiesse. Some swelling, and bruising at the injection points can be expected after treatment, but these should diminish over the next several hours. Treatment with Radiesse will result in immediate improvement that will last a long time and even improve as the formula is absorbed by the body and replaced with new collagen. The results of Radiesse can last for over one year before a touch-up session is needed.
