What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is a family of dermal fillers composed of hyaluronic acid, a key component in bringing moisture to your skin. Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus XC can instantly smooth out moderate to severe parentheses lines around the nose and mouth. The formula can last for up to one year before a touch-up session is needed.
Juvederm Voluma®
Juvederm Voluma® is designed to restore volume and definition to the cheeks. If you experience sunken cheeks with age, Voluma® might be right for you. The results of Juvederm Voluma® can last for up to two years.
Juvederm Volbella®
Juvederm Volbella is formulated to address thin lips and vertical lip lines. The results of Volbella are instant and can last for up to one year.
Juvederm Vollure®
Juvederm Vollure can add instant volume to soften lines around the nose and mouth for 18 months.
Juvederm® Treatment
Dr. Weider will begin treatment by applying a topical numbing cream and then cleansing the skin and marking the areas to be treated. He will then carefully inject a small amount of the selected Juvederm® filler below the skin. Filler formulas can also be combined in one treatment for optimal facial rejuvenation. The injection process can take about 15 to 45 minutes to complete.
Results of Juvederm
After treatment with Juvederm, you might experience some mild swelling, however, this should diminish in the next day or two few days. The results of Juvederm filler are evident almost immediately producing smoother, younger-looking skin and can last for 1-2 years before a touch-up session is needed.

Dr. Weider, a native of Southern California, is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in Dallas, TX since 1999. After attending Stanford University, he obtained his medical degree (M.D.) from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then completed a one year surgical internship in Los Angeles at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, followed by a four year general surgery residency in Dallas at Methodist Medical Center, and a two year plastic surgery fellowship in Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University.
