This patient is a 34 year old female who has a common variant called constricted (tubular) breasts. This means that she has very little breast tissue in the lower half of her breasts and a short distance from the nipples to the inframammary fold (crease at the bottom of the breasts). In order to correct this, I placed the implants in a subglandular position (above the muscle) and adjusted the technique for creating the implant pocket in order to stretch out the tight skin. Her implants are 415cc high profile silicone gel filled implants.
