BREAST LIFT SURGERY

During surgery, Dr. Weider will make incisions at key locations to complete the lift. The number and length of the incisions are related to the extent of breast sagging. Most women are candidates for the technique that requires an incision made around the areola of the nipples. When breast implants are being placed simultaneously, Dr. Weider will dissect the breast pocket and slip breast implants into place. Then, he will reshape the breasts and lift them into position. AFTERCARE FOR THE BREAST LIFT

Dr. Weider will see you during the recovery period to help ensure an optimal result. Within a few days following breast lift surgery, you’ll most likely feel like returning to most normal activities, but may refrain from work for five days or so. Dr. Weider will prescribe medication to ease discomfort during the recovery period. You may experience swelling and numbness following surgery, which subside over time. Dr. Weider will provide a list of guidelines to minimize the risk of complications, including: no overhead lifting and refraining from various activities.
